Earnest William King founded E.W.King & co in 1888.
In 1905 he devoted much of his seed catalogue to his favourite flower the "sweet pea"-offering over 100 vars, and as a result became known in the trade as "The Sweet Pea King"
122 years on, the business is a totally independant, privately owned company,as busy as ever, supplying us with a quality range of flower, veg and herb seed.
